It's Cocoa Time

Hi, everybody!  Before I get started, I would like to welcome my newest follower - Happy Craft Creations - thank you for joining me!  If you could please leave a link to your blog in the comments, I will hop over and follow you too!

I'm making lots of holiday cards this month!  Today's card features an adorable bear enjoying a cup of hot cocoa.  I went with traditional reds and greens for this one.

This cute little bear is Gerda Steiner's Bear Mug but it appears he has retired from her digi shop. Oh, wait, I just found him as a clear stamp called Warm Fuzzies.  I coloured him with markers, added details with a white paint pen, and fussy-cut so I could pop him up on foam tape.  I made a little snow scene for him on the stitched tag and added a sparkly red bow (Poppystamps Lovely Gift Bow).  The peace word from Simon Says Stamp Christmas Word Mix 1 is stamped in red and die-cut with the coordinating die, and the cocoa sentiment is a stamp from Nicole Silhouette.  The red snowflakes were made with a Recollections punch.

My card design was inspired by Try Stampin' on Tuesday's Sketch Challenge 532:

I'm happy to be joining the Fall/Winter 2021 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, along with the following challenges:

Fantastic tag die Kitty, I love the stitched edge. Great mix of papers on this one, the mint green and red must be the colours of the season, I'm seeing them everywhere. Love the sparkly bow and lovely red snowflakes too.
Cheers,
Beccy
