Meow and Purrever

Hello, it's me again!  As promised, I am back with the third card I made this month.  Scroll back if you would like to see the other two cards.

These adorable and fun kitties are from Notturno Digital Arts - Valentine Cats - Set of 10.  I coloured the two kitties with markers and fussy-cut so I could pop them up on foam tape.  I added white accents with a paint pen and adhered googly eyes on the boy kitty.

The heart patterned paper is from Gecko Galz, and I adhered the kitties on a die-cut heart circle (brand unknown).  I used a stitched circle die (My Creative Time) to die-cut the heart circle to create the white frame.  The inner circle was made with Distress Oxide Spray (leftover scrap).  The sentiment is from Graciellie Designs, which I fussy-cut and popped up on foam tape.  To finish the card, I adhered three red felt hearts.

I would like to join the following challenges:
Allsorts 717 AG Optional Matching Pairs (pair of cats, pair of hearts in boy kitty's hands) 1/3
Crafty Gals Corner 240 Add a Heart 2/3

Coffee is My Valentine

Hello again!  Before I share my card, I would like to welcome my newest follower - KarinsArtScrap karin van eijk - thank you for joining me!

This is the second card I made this month.  I have one more to share after this, so stay tuned.  This adorable Coffee Cat is from Notturno Digital Arts, and I coloured her with markers and fussy-cut so I could pop her up on foam tape.  The sentiment is also part of the set, which I fussy-cut and adhered to a banner scrap.  I saw this cute image on Holley's Blog and couldn't resist!

The heart patterned paper is from Gecko Galz, and I adhered the Coffee Cat on a die-cut heart doily (Joy's DIY Craft).  I die-cut the doily a second time from a fuchsia scrap and inlayed three of the off-cut hearts on the doily for a pop of colour to coordinate with the fuchsia banner scrap.

I would like to join the following challenges:
Crafty Gals Corner 240 Add a Heart 1/3

Joyful Tidings Gingerbread

Hello, everyone!  I can't believe February is nearly over!  I haven't been crafting much this month, but hopefully I will be back to regular crafting and blogging soon. Sorry I haven't been able to do much blog visiting yet.  In the meantime, I didn't want to miss my favourite challenges.

I've made a grand total of 3 cards this month, and I will be sharing them all today.  This first card came together quickly and easily as everything except the polka dot paper was in my pile of leftovers from last year's holiday cardmaking spree.  I hope they count as snippets!

This cute gingerbread man is from Beccy's Place Gingerbread Set (sadly this set is now retired).  As mentioned, he was left over from last year, or maybe even the year before, and he has been popped up on foam tape.

For the background, I used brown polka dot paper and a torn-edge white scrap behind a die-cut winter scene.  The die-cut and torn white scrap were leftovers that didn't get used for last year's holiday cards.  Sorry I don't know the brand of this die.  After adhering it to the polka dot paper, I added Star Dust Stickles to some of the trees and along the snow.  To finish off the card, I adhered a self-made sentiment (Microsoft Word), popped up on foam tape.  This sentiment was also a leftover that didn't make the cut last year.

I would like to join the following 10 challenges:
ABC Christmas D for Die-cuts UE
Beccy's Place February AG w Beccy's Image UE
CRAFT 668 Christmas 1/2
Crafty Catz 626 AG with Optional Twist (Spots, Stripes or both) 1/3
Snippets Playground 448 Snippets are the gingerbread man, die-cut scene, torn scrap of white cardstock used for the snowy landscape, and sentiment 1E C10
Word Art Wednesday 583-584 AG w Uplifting Sentiment 1/5

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a joyful day!

Sweet Holiday Greetings

Hi, everyone!  Sorry I haven't been around lately.  I've been taking a short blog break since early December.  At first I was reorganizing my craftroom (still lots more to do!), but then I ended up with vertigo and problems from low blood pressure.  I don't think I'll be able to get around to visit your blogs right away but will do so whenever I can.  In any event, I didn't want to miss the first Rudolph Day of the year, even if it's the final day.  Fortunately I had my card already made, photographed, and blog post partially written.

Here's my card featuring an adorable image from Last Minute Manda.  This image is from a set called Christmas Coffee and Cookies.  I coloured the image with markers and added some details with a white paint pen.
