Five More ATCs

Hi, everybody! Today I'm sharing five more ATCs!  I've been so inspired by Janis at Her Peaceful Garden, who is having an ATC party this month.  She has had four different themes, a new one each week:  All Those Cats, And the Chickens, Adorable Teapot Collection, and for the fourth and final week, it's And Then... Chocolate.  There's still time for you to join in!  The deadline is March 3.  I've had a lot of fun making ATCs lately!  If you're not sure what an ATC is, please check out this great link provided by Janis here.

Chocolate
For the final week of Janis's ATC party, the theme is Chocolate! Yay! Who doesn't love chocolate?!  I made three ATCs for this theme!  The stamps are from Close to My Heart - A Chocolate Affair.

I used Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle Layers die and a Stampin' Up corner punch.

Inks used were various combinations of Memento Rich Cocoa, Ranger Archival Sepia, and Distress Oxide Vintage Photo. I sponged around the edge of each ATC with Vintage Photo.

To finish them off, I added a tiny red confetti heart to each ATC.

Kitty Bookmark
I decided to make Janis one of my kitty bookmarks! Here it is on an ATC, hanging on to a thin strip of acetate to hold it in place. I'll be adding this ATC to Janis's cat theme linky.

I used Your Next Stamp dies: Cute Cat Bookmark Die Set and Mini Envelope Die (flower).  The embossing folder is Cuttlebug Shower Blossom.  My colour combo was inspired by Your Next Stamp Colour Challenge 83:

Teapot
I made one final ATC inspired by Janis's Teapot theme, again using puffy stickers. The patterned paper is from Lots of Flowers Paper Pack. I used a small doily die, butterfly punch, and digital I Need Tea freebie from Kellie Winnell at Give a Girl a Blog.

Spring Bunnies Anniversary

Hello, everyone! Today I'm sharing a card I made with Gerda Steiner's Spring Bunny Friends. I received this image for free because I participated in last month's challenge. This is a progressive challenge, so if you play along in February, you will receive a new free image for March. It is fun and exciting to receive a new cute image every month, and I always look forward to it! Thank you, Gerda! Here's a link to Gerda's February challenge - there is still time to join in!

I went with a white-on-white look for this card.  Minimal colouring was needed on the bunnies, and I heat-embossed the Hero Arts sentiment in silver.

I also found inspiration here: Allsorts Something Beginning with B (bunnies) 1/3; Ally's Angels Stitching Real or Faux 3/3; Cardz TV 36 AG 3/3; Crafty Friends Springtime 1/3; Creative Fingers AG 3/3; Cupcake Inspirations CIC440 White Out 2/3; Cute Card Thursday Cute Critters UE; Deep Ocean Cute and Cuddly UE; DL.ART February Linky AG 1/d; DL.ART Thankful Thursday AG 3/3; Double D Woodland Creatures 1/3; Jo's Scrap Shack FFC222 AG 3/3; Mod Squad Animal Fun 2/3; Pammie's Inky Pinkies AG 1/3; The Outlawz Twisted Thursday AG 2/2

Happy x 4

Hello, everyone!  I've made another holiday card!  Yay!  Now I've reached my goal of two per month!  Actually I am hoping to make a couple more before the end of February.

This is not my usual style but I've been trying some different things this year.  Today I've gone with a white-on-white look, which I always find quite challenging to achieve. I do have a tiny pop of silver as well!  I've used my new Winnie and Walter - In a Word: Happy Cutaway die.  I die-cut each word four times in white cardstock and four times in white craft foam so I could pop up the words.  There's a big party this month for Winnie and Walter's 4th Birthday Bash celebration, and I've been inspired to join in the fun!

Winnie and Walter Challenges
Four Challenge with Shay Four die-cut happy words
Die Challenge with Lydia Happy die
Comeback Challenge with Taheerah I was inspired by Anita in France's white-on-white card here but for my pop of colour, I went with silver

Teapot ATC - Always Time for Tea

Hello, everyone! I'm back again today with another teapot ATC!  It's for my crafty friend Janis at Her Peaceful Garden, who is having an ATC party this month.  This week's theme is Teapots!

  • Stamps: Sentiment, hearts (unknown brand)
  • Dies: Spellbinders Lacey Circles, Gina Marie Designs 10-pce Greenery and Flowers, generic doily

My ATC design was inspired by Tuesday Morning Sketches 441:

I would also like to share the back of my ATC, which I created using Microsoft Word.  It will be on its way to Janis as soon as her ATC celebration has concluded:

  • Die: Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle Layers

As I did in the previous post, I'm sharing my teapot collection.  I have only two items:  a little teapot clock, which was a gift from Brian's Mom (may she rest in peace), and a Calico Kittens tea party figurine that I found at the thrift store.  Here they are with the ATC, which shows the small size of the items:

Teapot ATC - Take a Break

Hi, everybody! Today I'm sharing another ATC! I do enjoy making ATCs, and this one features a teapot! My crafty friend Janis at Her Peaceful Garden is having an ATC party this month, with weekly themes. This week's theme is Teapots!

Janis has an awesome collection of teapots! You will want to head over and take a look at her photos and then be inspired to make an ATC! For those who are new to ATCs, or Artist Trading Cards, they measure 3.5" x 2.5" and the small size makes them super fun to make! I usually send mine to my crafty friends with happy mail or make them into a pocket letter, also to share with crafty friends.

  • Stamps: Sentiment (generic planner stamps)
  • Dies: Spellbinders Lacey Circles, Gina Marie Designs 10-pce Greenery and Flowers, generic doily
  • Paper: Patterned paper (Lots of Flowers Paper Pack), Recollections cardstock
  • Other:  Puffy Teapot Sticker, butterfly punch, various flower punches, gems - all from my stash

My ATC design was inspired by Tuesday Morning Sketches 441:

I was also inspired by Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge.  I haven't played there in a while but she has a new "Spin the Wheel" format that I like very much!  This week it's the letter P!  I've got Pink, Purple, and Patterned Paper and, of course, a butterfly!  Here's the inspiration wheel:

I would also like to share the back of my ATC, which I created using Microsoft Word.  It will be on its way to Janis as soon as her ATC celebration has concluded:

  • Die: Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle Layers

I was inspired by Janis's teapot collection and decided to share my own.  It's not much of a collection as I have only two items:  a little teapot clock, which was a gift from Brian's Mom (may she rest in peace), and a Calico Kittens tea party figurine that I found at the thrift store.  Here they are with the ATC, which shows the small size of the items:

Meow ATC

Hello, everyone!  I made another ATC! This one coordinates with the two I shared on my Happy Little Stampers Guest Designer post, so now I have a set of three! I used the left-over flowers and patterned paper, and I added a kitty!  I have been making a lot of ATCs lately.  I find it appealing to work on such a small scale.  For those who are new to ATCs, or Artist Trading Cards, they measure 3.5" x 2.5" and can be given to crafty friends with happy mail, which is exactly what I did with this one.  Now that it has been received, I am sharing it.

Products used:
  • Stamps:  Flowers (Happy Little Stampers Doodled Flowers clear stamps), sentiment (The Greeting Farm Purr-fect Cats), grass (free with magazine)
  • Dies:  Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle Layers, Lawn Fawn Grassy Border, Cat Die
  • Patterned paper:  My Mind's Eye Love Me, Martha Stewart Crafts Love Notes, Pebbles We Belong Together, Simple Stories Snap Color Vibe
  • Ink: Lawn Fawn Jet Black, Versamark
  • Accessories:  Embossing folder (double hearts), Tim Holtz Bow Punch, Ranger white embossing powder, Posca white paint maker, heart gems (from my Dollarama stash)

Here is a photo of all three of my ATCs.  I made a mini Pocket Letter to hold them, and my crafty friend has received the happy mail!

If you're looking for ATC inspiration, check out Janis at Her Peaceful Garden. She is having an ATC party this month, with weekly themes. So far, there's a challenge for Cats, Chickens, and Teapots! There will be another new theme on Monday and I can't wait to see what it is! I'll be linking this Meow ATC to Janis's Cats link-up.

As mentioned previously, I am usually a slow crafter so this was quite a challenge. But I loved it - that ticking timer really helped me focus and get the card made!  I made 6 cards, and this is the second one.  I will be sharing the rest of them today!

I shared my tips for speedy cardmaking in the previous post, so please see here if you're interested.
