Heart Doodle with Butterfly

Hello, everyone!  I did some colouring recently and have made a card!  I've been inspired by a few challenges, as usual!  The image is Scribbles Designs Heart Doodle 4.  Sandy has several doodles like this in her store and they are a lot of fun to colour!  I used my markers (Bic Mark-its and Dollarama markers) and then fussy-cut around the image and mounted on craft foam.

The kraft cardstock is embossed with Cuttlebug Plum Blossom and I added a fun butterfly (my Dollarama stash) and die-cut leaves (Cheery Lynn Flourish Leaf Strip).  The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and fussy-cut.  Lastly I added some tiny gem flowers to the centers of the three heart flowers.

I was inspired by the following challenges: A Gem of a Challenge 19 Anything Goes 1/3; Ally's Angels 26 AG 1/3; Aud Sentiments AG plus Sentiment 1/5; Brown Sugar 293 AG 1/2; Butterfly Challenge 129 Spin the Butterfly Wheel with M (I went with Mandarin); Cardz TV 99 AG 1/3; Creative Fingers 171 AG 1/3; DL.ART September Linky AG UE 1/d; Double Trouble 39 Something, Anything, Everything Free for All Thing 1 Use Your Stash, Thing 2 Link up with Previous Partner (Brown Sugar) 1/4; Get Creative 84 AG 2/3; ITD Creative Playground 9 AG 2/3; Little Patch of Crafty Friends 114 Always AG 1/3; Love to Scrap Challenge Blog 125 AG 1/5; Penny's Paper-Crafty 449 AG 1/3; Polkadoodles 39 AG 1/2; Scribbles Designs 81 Use Kraft Paper 1/3; Simon Says Stamp Wednesday 66 AG 1/5; The Corrosive September AG 1/3; The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Sept 26 Something that Begins with the Letter of my First Name (K for Kraft) 1/2; Through the Craft Room Door Sept 23 AG 1/2; Word Art Wednesday 405-407 AG w Uplifting Sentiment Wk1 1/5

Fall Chipmunk

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a fall-themed card!  This little chippy has something yummy in his cup!

I've used this adorable image from Deedee's Digis - Fall Warm-up - several times before, yet I never tire of his chubby cheeks and cuteness!  Sadly Deedee's Digis is no longer in business but I continue to enjoy her adorable designs.  In this case I fussy-cut the pre-coloured image and popped him up on foam tape.

The striped background was made with my watercolours and then die-cut to add the stitched swirls. I used dies for the tree, leaves, and grass, and I stamped a sentiment from Your Next Stamp.  I did some inking with Distress Ink on the grass to add some texture.

Thinking of You Shadow Box Card

Hello there!  Today I'm sharing a shadow box card!  This is the first time I've used my Spellbinders Shapeabilities Layered Thinking of You Woodland Scene Shadowbox Die and I love how it turned out!  It was a bit difficult to photograph so I've made the photo extra large and hopefully you can see the various layers of this little woodland scene.

This card was made for a man going through some health issues and it has already been received.

There is a lot of die-cutting for this card, but no stamping.  I did some inking with Distress Oxides on the animals, leaves, and grass (Lawn Fawn die), and I added a few white spots to the deer.  The back panel, although barely visible, is a sky I created with Distress Oxides using the ink-smooshing technique.

I would like to support the following challenges: 2 Crafty Critter Crazies AG w Animals 1/3; A Perfect Time to Craft AG UE; Aud Sentiments Masculine w Sentiment 1/5; Cardz TV 97 AG 3/3; Crafts Galore Encore September AG 1/3 Cut It Up Outdoor Fun (seeing animals in the woods is fun for me!) 1E; Dies R Us Nature 1/3; DL.ART September Linky AG UE 1/d; Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Always AG 1/3; Simon Says Stamp Wednesday AG 4/5; The Outlawz Monday Greetings Layers 1/3; Through the Craft Room Door AG 1/2; UnstampaBelles Time for Recess, Twist Luscious Layers 1/4; Word Art Wednesday 402-403 AG 4/5 wk1
