Hot Chocolate and Gingerbread

Hello, everyone!  I'm back again to share another card!  This one features stamps and a stencil from Newton's Nook.

I began with the background by sponging Vintage Photo Distress Ink through Newton's Nook Mug Stencil onto kraft cardstock.  I adhered cream vellum to the stencilled panel per the sketch below.  The cup image is from Newton's Nook Cup of Cocoa but the gingerbread stamp (Newton's Nook Ginger Snap) is sadly retired.  I coloured the images with markers and fussy-cut, adhering them to the doily.  The sentiment is from the Cup of Cocoa set, which I heat-embossed in white on a brown scrap.

My card design was inspired by the sketch at Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge 168

I was also inspired by the following 9 challenges, for a total of 10:
2022 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop AG w Coffee, Tea, Cocoa, or Hot Apple Cider
Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards (D for Distress Ink)
Classic Design Team 11 AG UE
DL.ART November Linky AG UE
Double D Hot Beverages 3/3
Jan's Digi Stamps November AG 5/5
Word Art Wednesday 569-570 AG w Uplifting Sentiment 3/5 wk2

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a wonderful day!

Gosh that's cute! I have to get some Newton's Nook images for my stash. (like I don't have enough already) I love that gingie with his circle mouth. It's so expressive. Great card.

I'm here again dear friend! No DT hat this time :D
You have been so busy! I'm so glad to see that your mojo works so much! :) This card remember me chocolate even without reading the sentiment! The sketch seems the packaging of an open chocolate bar LOL :D and the colours are just perfect!! Fabulous stencilled background, and the cream vellum looks so pretty on it!! Adorable gingerbread on the lovely doily! Also the white sentiment on brown is just perfect! Such great design!! Very well done! You are always so inspiring!
Sending you lots of hugs, love and peace as always!

Another delicious looking card Kitty! Love the brown base, kraft always looks fabulous mixed with other colours. I also like the overlay of vellum, it really softens the background. The doily die cut is wonderful and who wouldn't love a cute gingerbread man and cup of hot chocolate?!
Cheers,
Beccy
