Gingerbread Mug Set

Good morning, everyone!  Today I'm sharing two cards featuring a brand new digital set from Pattie's Creations called Gingerbread Mug Set.  There are two images in the set:  a mug with a boy gingerbread and one with a girl gingerbread, and they are both so cute!  You all know how I adore gingerbreads!

Here's the girl Gingerbread Mug first:

I coloured the image with markers and added lots of details with a white paint pen.  I fussy-cut and adhered the image to a white panel, die-cut with Lawn Fawn Stitched Landscape Border, along with another layer of red glitter cardstock peeking out, cut with the same die.  I fussy-cut and adhered a heart-shaped tag (LOTV Digi Shop) and a baker's twine bow.  The peppermint candy paper is from Imagine That Digistamp (no longer operating), and I finished the card by adding a white-heat-embossed sentiment from Taylored Expressions.

Now here's the boy Gingerbread Mug:

Again, I coloured the image with markers, added some details with a white paint pen, and fussy-cut.  The die-cut scalloped music paper (Lawn Fawn Snow Day) was a leftover I found in my scrap box, as was the sparkly red Ric Rac Border (Your Next Stamp).  The gingerbread-patterned paper is from Phantasia, and I stamped the Cocoa Time sentiment (Nicole Silhouette) on a red scrap and fussy-cut.  I finished the card by stamping the Yum sentiment (Hero Arts) on the music paper and adhering three snowflakes punched from a green scrap.

I noticed that Pattie's Creations is having a sale, so please head over to her shop and enjoy the 30% off coupon below.  She has a lot of cute images!   Pattie also has a Monthly Challenge with prizes of her digis, and she generously provides a freebie image each month, so you won't want to miss out!

Hi Kitty,
just read your comment on my blog,
I learned how to do these on You Tube with Lavinia Stamps Design teams vidoes.
Jo Rice is one and she explains how to make wonderful cards and her stamping techniques are brilliant.
Also Tracey the owner of Lavinia Stamps makes some beautiful cards too in fact the whole design team do.
Another lady to watch out for Eileen Godwin.
Another Lady is Laura Wren she desings for Caedio Stamps.
Hope that helps, till I watched them I was so afraid of stamping and could never think of a stamping design.
Was okay with dies but stamping just stumped me for designs.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Such cute and sweet couple of cards, dear Kitty!! The teacups with the gingers are adorable and so well coloured! Love the white accents added on the cup and the gingers! And both the designs of your cards look wonderful! Great choices of the papers, especially love the one with the peppermint candies, they have a fabulous faux 3D look, I initially thought that they were stickers! :D The glittered red borders on both the cards add a very festive touch! Love the sweet heart tag with the twine bow on the feminine version, and love the added three green snowflakes, as well the cute and fun sentiments, on the second one!! Well done with this set! It remember me You and Brian! :)
Hugs sweet friend! Have a lovely, peaceful and blessed day!
