Sugar and Spice

Hi, everybody!  I'm back again today to share another holiday card!  I must craft and blog when I have the opportunity!  This card features one of the images from Beccy's Place - Christmas Cheers.  Before printing, I digitally added the cute gingerbread man from Beccy's Place Gingerbread so that he's peeking out from behind the bauble.  I coloured the image with markers and added some accents with a white paint pen.

I die-cut the image with a stitched oval and layered onto a green scalloped oval.  The green snowflake paper is a freebie from Free Pretty Things for You.  The sentiment is from Imagine That Digistamp, printed on red paper (sadly this company is no longer in business).  To finish the card, I adhered three punched red snowflakes (Recollections punch).

I would also like to join the following 8 challenges:
Beccy's Place March AG w Beccy's Image UE
Christmas Kickstart 60 Snowflakes (punched snowflakes, snowflake paper) 1/3 C8
Double Trouble 105 Bring on the Green (Thing1) 1/4
Incy Wincy Ends March 25 Home and Food 1/5
Word Art Wednesday 533-534 AG w Uplifting Sentiment wk2 2/5

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a joy-filled day!

Beautifully colored image in your stitched oval frame against the pretty Christmas patterned paper and love the sentiment. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and don't forget to share with our partner Heart2Heart "Going Green" as they have waived their requirement to use a CTMH product. Hope to see you there.

Hi again Kitty! :) This card is so vibrant and happy! Your digital composition looks yummy and so cute!! Great idea putting the gingerbread as he is peeking out from the bauble and the cup! Love the green paper with snowflakes, it's a great choice to make the oval topper pop out!! Cute and fun sentiment too!
Sending love and good vibes across the miles! Big hugs!

You're so creative Kitty, the card looks fabulous! I love the idea of adding the little gingerbread man, he really looks like he belongs in the scene. Great job on the colouring too, it's wonderfully festive! I really like the gorgeous green paper you used, and the little pops of red just finish the design perfectly! Well done!
Cheers,
Beccy

Hi Kitty. Great design and like how you have the gingerbread man peeking out from behind the cup and ornament, too cute! Not sure how you got so much shimmer on the image but it looks great!
