Today I tried a new card style (well, new to me!). It's called a wiper card and I was intrigued by a tutorial I saw over at Scrapbook Blessings Club. I have not seen this style of card before so I just had to try it!

It looks 3-D when open, and out pops the little "wiper" at the top. And it all folds up to the size of a regular card which fits into an A2 envelope. Here's another view.
The image I used is the September progressive challenge digi from Gerda Steiner Designs called Kid with Pumpkin Cart. I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils. Here are the other supplies used:
- Rubber stamp: Sentiment (Serendipity Stamps)
- Clear stamp: Leaves (Clearly Besotted Leafy Accents)
- Dies: Leaves (Clearly Besotted Leafy Accents), squirrel (Cheery Lynn)
- Patterned paper: Creative Memories
- Accents: Ribbon, gems, charm (stash)
And since there's no kitty on this card, I wanted to share a photo of my new kitty (well, she's actually Brian's kitty, but we're all one big, happy family now!). This is Snowy aka Snowbug.
