Butterfly Thinking of You

Hello, everyone!  Thank you for your prayers and positive thoughts for Nova Scotia!  We are okay!  Some parts of Nova Scotia, as well as other provinces in Atlantic Canada, sustained significant damage, but we experienced only a small amount of damage to our property.  We feel very blessed.  We were without electricity for only 10 hours, and we lost our telephone and internet service for about 28 hours.  We are relieved it is over but continue praying for others who are still impacted by Hurricane Fiona.

Today I'm sharing my card for Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge 173, which is Spin the Butterfly Wheel with W for Window Card.  This is a new card style for me, and it was fun!

I followed Mrs. A's instructions in her Window Card tutorial.  The colours I chose are Wheat, Watermelon, and Wild Blue Yonder, along with the theme of Wood.  The wooden butterfly was part of a prize I won in a previous challenge of Mrs. A's (thank you!).  I added a die-cut butterfly (free with magazine) behind the wooden butterfly.  The patterned paper is from MME Sky's the Limit, and I stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts.

I was also inspired by the following 9 challenges, for a total of 10:
DL.ART September Linky AG UE
Double Trouble 121 Punch it Out (Thing1 Dies, Thing3 Wood Butterfly, Thing2 Use Your Stuff Challenge) 2/4

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends 190 AG 1/3
Pammie's Inky Pinkies 2238 AG 3/3 C10
Penny's Paper-Crafty 530 AG 2/3
The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Sept.22-Oct.5 Always AG UE
Through the Craft Room Door Sept. 13 AG 4/4
Use Your Stuff 467 Wood or Woodgrain
Word Art Wednesday 561-562 AG w Uplifting Sentiment wk2 2/5

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a peaceful day!

I love the type of card fold and your card showcases the very pretty butterfly beautifully. Love the pretty papers you used. Glad you endured the storm without too much damage. Even being without power is problem and can cause damages. Stay safe thru the clean up. Prayers to all those who lost so much. Hugs, Lena

Hi dear Kitty!!! I received your mail and previously looked at the link you put on the previous post, so I knew that you were already out of the storm :) I'm so relieved for your well being!!! SO happy the know that the storm is over and you are well! I think rain will arrive, be patient for this.
