Hello, everyone! Before I share my card, I would like to request your prayers for Nova Scotia.
We are in the path of Hurricane Fiona starting Friday afternoon and into Saturday. To monitor the storm warning for our area, here is a link:

All prayers and positive thoughts are appreciated. We may lose electricity and internet so I may not be around blogland over the weekend. When possible, I will post on my blog that we are okay.
In the meantime, I would like to share a fun card featuring stamps and dies from Your Next Stamp. My card features three of my favourite crafty subjects: kitties, hot chocolate, and gingerbread! This is a mini slimline card measuring 6" x 3.5" and it's the first time I've made a card of this size.
I did a lot of colouring here, and it was fun! I also used up a bunch of scraps! I have a big pile of scraps on my desk and I pulled out bits and pieces to put together my card (scroll down for photo of scraps below).
I coloured the images with markers and then fussy-cut. I knew I could make a little scene with my scraps. The blue patterned paper was already a good size but I had to trim the white scrap both lengthwise and width to fit this card size.

After I adhered the patterned paper and the white snowy landscape, I adhered the gingerbread house and kitties (the kitties are popped up on foam tape). The cup held by the kitty on the right is plain so I adhered the leftover tiny gingerbread man.
Along the bottom edge of the card I adhered the sparkly red ricrac border and added the gingerbread man and holly to the left to fill in the empty space. In the sky I adhered three punched white snowflakes and the candy, to which I adhered a tiny red punched heart. Now that I look at the candy, it appears to be flying through the sky like a bird, oh well. I'm so happy to use up some scraps, but I have lots more in the pile for the next card!
