Today I made a quick card to participate in the sketch challenge over at From the Heart Stamps - I {heart} sketches. They are celebrating their 100th sketch - Congratulations! I think I did a pretty good job considering our power was off and I coloured and assembled this with very little light! We had snow and freezing rain - a real mess! I was so happy the electricity was restored so I could link up my card - among other reasons!
The image is called Rather be Skiing, and I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils and added clear glitter along the snow and the snowman's body. I used my Nellie's Multi-frame Circles to die-cut the image and the green circle behind it. The dp is from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is an old wood-mounted stamp from All Night Media/Plaid, which I stamped on a leftover scrap of vellum in Ancient Page Pine. I finished off the card with a snowflake button.
Here's the sketch I followed:

Okay... having snow and freezing rain explains why you went for a ski card. It also explains the happy, warm, bright colors you've used on it. It is a wonderful combination! And that vellum layer???? To. Die. For!
