Sugar and Spice

Hello, it's me again!  As promised, here is the other holiday card I made!  This gets me back on track with my goal of making two holiday cards a month, although I'm still behind for the year.

This yummy digital image is from Beccy's Place Sugar and Spice, and the sentiment is from Beccy's Place Simply Christmas.  I used the pre-coloured image and fussy-cut so I could pop him up on foam tape.  I added Spectrum Noir clear sparkle to his icing, buttons, and the pudding. Behind him is a die-cut doily and a holly-embossed panel.  I finished off the card with three green snowflake sequins.

Recycled Snowman Card

Hello, everyone!  I'm back again today with a holiday card!  I have not been meeting my goal of making two cards a month so I'd like to get back on track.  I will be sharing another holiday card today so stay tuned!

For this card, I recycled a retail Christmas card that I received several years ago. It was too cute not to give it another life!  The snowman is actually on the inside of the card, with a circular aperture on the front.  I added a die-cut and stamped sentiment in red on the front (Simon Says Stamp Sending die and Your Next Stamp Waddles Winter Happiness).

I finished the inside of the card as well. I die-cut the snowman with a circle, stamped:a sentiment in red (Your Next Stamp Winter Wishes - retired), and added two strips of coordinating patterned paper.

Bloomdala Bliss Sympathy

Hello, everyone! I've been doing some colouring! I decided to have another go at this beautiful free digital at STAMPlorations called Bloomdala Bliss Sampler (thank you, Shery!). You can see my first card using this image here. STAMPlorations is celebrating National Colouring Book Day this month with a Linky Party and giveaway.

Sadly I've been sending out a number of sympathy cards lately.  I find them difficult to make so I like to have some made in advance to be ready when needed.

I coloured the image with markers and fussy-cut.  I adhered it to a second print-out of the image, which I ink-blended with Distress Oxides, and popped up the leaves with foam tape.  I stamped the sympathy sentiment (Gina K. Designs) and then finished off the card with lots of red gems.

Bloomdala Bliss Thinking of You

Happy Anniversary Birds

Hello, again!  As promised, I'm back with another card inspired by Tuesday Morning Sketches 500th Sketch! 

The beautiful bird image is from Gecko Galz The Art of Nouveau Collage Sheet, and I mounted it on black cardstock.  The fancy floral die is a Crafter's Companion Fancy Die'sire Edge'able.  This die has been in my stash for a long time and this is the first time I've used it.  The stitching along the edges of the turquoise strip is from MFT Die-namics Basic Stitched Lines.  I stamped an Anniversary greeting and finished off the card with some black sequins.

Winter, Hello Snow

Hello, everyone!  Before I get started, I would like to welcome my newest follower - Susan - thank you for joining me! 

I wasn't planning to make another card yesterday but I was so inspired after completing the Tuesday Morning Sketches 500th Sketch Blog Hop that I ended up making two!  I'll be back with my second card shortly!  I really liked how Lori used a doily on her card for the sketch, so I had to try it!  I thought I wasn't going to meet my goal of making two holiday cards this month, and now I have!  Yay!

Except for the doily die, all images and papers are from the Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa collection.  The bunny is popped up on foam tape, and I added Stardust Stickles to the bunny's tail and the snowman's pompom. I really like these non-traditional colours!
