Luke 1:76-80 is part of Zacharias' prophecy (known as the Benedictus) upon the birth of his son, John the Baptist, after Zacharias' speech was restored. The passage summarizes John's calling, message, and early life, pointing to his role as the forerunner to Jesus Christ.
If you have read my journal writings from Day 6 through to today, then you will have read the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 1, verses 39-80. You're reading the Bible!
Tomorrow I will be starting Chapter 2 of the Gospel of Luke, which will cover the journey to Bethlehem by Mary and Joseph.
I used the following printables from my digital stash to make the page more interesting:
- Illustrations - FreeBibleImages.org
- Title - Birth of John the Baptist (self-made in Word)
- Labels - Scripture (Antique Images), Prophecy (Pouring My Art Out for the Lord)

I use the Authorized King James Version of the Bible to write scriptures.
