The Birth of Christ - Day 14 Scripture Writing

Hello, everybody. Today I present my scripture-writing journal page for December 14. These verses continue on from yesterday's page (Day 13).

Luke 1:67-75, known as the Benedictus, is Zacharias' prophecy after his son John the Baptist's birth, praising God for visiting and redeeming His people through a mighty Saviour (Jesus) from David's line, fulfilling ancient promises to save Israel from enemies, and enabling them to serve God fearlessly in righteousness. It connects Old Testament covenants (with Abraham and David) to the coming Messiah, highlighting God's mercy, covenant faithfulness, and the salvation that brings light to darkness, setting the stage for John's role as forerunner.

I used the following printables from my digital stash to make the page more interesting:
  • Illustrations - FreeBibleImages.org
  • Title - Birth of John the Baptist (self-made in Word)
  • Labels - Scripture (Antique Images), Prophecy (Pouring My Art Out for the Lord)
  • Number - Vintage Glam Studio

I use the Authorized King James Version of the Bible to write scriptures.
