Glitter n Sparkle DT - Valentines/Use Some Red

Hello, friends.  It's Sunday, so that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog. This week's theme is Valentines/Use Some Red. Come on over and join us!  You all know how much I love kitties - I got a sweet one to play with this week - it's called Purrfect Digital Stamp and Paper Pack from Coosty Creations at Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet.  I used the digital image and coloured it lightly with my Prismacolor pencils, but this pack also comes with four coordinating digital papers (see below).

For my card, I created a background with several strips of heart-themed washi tape.  I added a number of other heart-themed items from my stash:  a strip of beaded hearts, ribbon, button, charm, paper-clip, gem, and sentiment sticker.  The twine is from American Crafts.

Bird's Nest Thank You

Hello, everyone.  I know I shouldn't be crafting - so much to do for the move - but I needed a bit of a break.  I really wanted to play along in the linky party over at Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage and also the sketch challenge at From the Heart Stamps.  

The beautiful bird image is from Crafty Secrets' Creative Scraps - Birds and Blossoms.  I used my Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles and Poppy Stamps Curious Cat dies.  The "Thank You" stamp is a wood-mount from Studio G, and the DP is from ColorBok.  The yellow cardstock is from Walmart, and the navy is Recollections.  I punched two little hearts using a Michaels mini punch.  I doodled some faux stitching around the image and along the left edge and bottom of the card with a Tombow marker. Polar Love

Hello, everybody.  I'm back again today with a quick card I made for the progressive challenge over at Imagine That... digis by Kris.  This image is called "Polar Love" and I opted for the pre-coloured version - it's nice to have these when time is short.

I added Stickles to the snow and to the bear's heart.  The embossed background is Cuttlebug Heart Blocks.  I  used two sentiments here: "Sending my Love" is a clear stamp from Studio G, and "Happy Valentine's Day" is a wood-mount from CraftSmart.  The heart beads and heart charm are from Dollarama, and the twine is from American Crafts.  I used my Nellie's Multiframe Circles around the image.

Hedgehog Heart

Hello, everyone.  Here I am back after a few days out of the craft room.  Super busy lately - my BF and I just bought a house - so excited about this - but there are so many things to do.  I will not be getting much time for crafting for the next few months I am afraid.  But in any event,  I have had this cute little hedgie all coloured for a few days, so I wanted to get him onto a card before the challenge ended LOL. He is a freebie from Scribbles Designs called Hedgehog Heart and they are celebrating 100 followers over there - congratulations!

How cute is this hedgehog - I coloured him with my Prismacolor pencils.  I made the background with a bunch of heart-themed washi tapes.  The sentiment is a flower card, and I added lots of heart embellies and stickers.  I stamped a heart onto the white foam heart as it was a bit plain. Here is the supplies list:
