Witzy says Happy Halloween

Hello, friends.  I made a Halloween card yesterday - this one is for a young friend who loves Witzy the duck.  I didn't want to make it too scary but it looks scary enough LOL.  However, Witzy is not frightened - I just love the sweet look on his face here - he's so cute!

 

I started my card by covering a white card base with black cardstock and then added this beautiful Halloween backing paper that I got as a freebie from Crafty Moments (thank you, Vince).  Next I embossed the Happy Halloween sentiment with glittery black embossing powder.  I coloured little Witzy with pencils, fussy-cut, and affixed with foam tape.  I added two strips of yellow string across the bottom of the card and embellished with three black buttons tied with yellow string.  Here are the supplies used:

Christmas Cracker Kitty

Hello, everyone.  Today I have made a Christmas card - and it features a kitty playing with a Christmas cracker.  I love this little kitty - as soon as I started colouring him, he really came to life.  I received this little guy as a freebie a while ago from Ike's World (thank you).

Full Harvest of Blessings

Hello, everyone.  Here is a fall card I made today.

This beautiful pumpkin image, sentiment, and patterned paper are all from Doodle Pantry - such a pretty set this is.  I started by covering a white card base with the patterned paper and added a square embossed brown panel.   I used the pre-coloured version of the pumpkins (since it's already perfect), mounted it on green cardstock, and affixed to the card with foam tape. 

Clearly Besotted Leafy Accents

I was excited to play with my new leaf stamps and dies.  They are from Clearly Besotted Leafy Accents and are part of my birthday gift from my BF Brian - my birthday isn't until Friday but I got them early - Yay!! - thank you, Brian!  So I stamped the leaves in green on green cardstock and die cut.  I printed the sentiment on green cardstock, trimmed, and affixed to the card with foam tape. Lastly I embellished with several orange and yellow flowers, the stamped/die-cut leaves, and a ribbon bow.  I added brads to several of the flowers.  Here are the supplies used:
