Paw-some Christmas

Hi, everyone! Today I am sharing a a fun shaker card featuring the December DOTM (digi of the month) from Imagine That... Digis by Kris called Happy Howlidays.  I received this adorable image for free since I participated in last month's challenge.

I used the pre-coloured image and sentiment from the Happy Howlidays set and merged it with a winter scene paper from The Paper Shelter.  I added Elizabeth Crafts Warm Diamond Glitter on the mailbox and trees and affixed three silver snowflake sequins.  I die-cut the scene paper with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles and filled the shaker with all sorts of loose glitter and sequins from my stash.  

Ooops, look who has sneaked into the photo of my shaker card! That silly elf Eli is a real ham!  He did not see me make the card, and now he is wondering how all those shaker bits got inside to shake around like that. I guess Eli just doesn't want to miss an opportunity to link up over at DL.ART's Third Annual Elf Antics Linky! Santa Peace

Hello, everyone!  Today I am sharing a card featuring the December progressive challenge image from Gerda Steiner Designs called Santa Peace.  I received this image for free since I joined the challenge last month.

I coloured Santa with Prismacolor pencils and fussy-cut so I could pop him up with foam tape. I added Martha Stewart crystal glitter on the white parts of his hat and suit. The kraft background is die-cut with Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop and I added some die-cut stitched landscapes from Poppystamps. The patterned paper is very old leftover snippets from my stash, as are the strips of red glitter foam. To finish it off I added a tiny snow-covered tree.

Just like yesterday I have another photo bomb to share. My little elf Eli has sneaked into the photo of my Santa card. As soon as Eli saw Santa, he got very excited and started singing "Here Comes Santa Claus"! Eli doesn't want to miss a day to link up over at DL.ART's Third Annual Elf Antics Linky! Meowy Christmas

Hello, everyone!  Today I have a kitty card to share!  I received this adorable image from The East Wind in their December newsletter - thank you, Unky, I love it! The East Wind is having their annual Meowy Christmas challenge, and you know I can't resist a kitty challenge!  On the subject of kitty challenges, the first one is underway over at Ike's Show Us Your Pussies Cats Only Challenge, and the theme is Krimbo Kitties, so you know I'm joining there as well!

I coloured the sweet image with Prismacolor pencils and die-cut with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles. I added gold Wink of Stella to the ornament holder. The diagonal striped paper is from Lawn Fawn Let's Bokeh in the Snow 6x6 paper pad. I stamped a greeting from Sugar Pea Designs - Sweet Treats and curved it to fit the shape of the ornament.  The die-cut is Impression Obsession Pine Branch, and I added a few silver sequins.

Here my little elf Eli has sneaked into the photo. He is famous for photo-bombing me! I am sure if he could use my camera, he would be taking selfies all day long. He's eager to link up over at DL.ART's Third Annual Elf Antics Linky!  If you have a little elf, you will want to join the fun too!

Hi, everyone!  Eli the Elf is still trying to sneak around and hide from me, but he's not very good at it! I think he's more interested in being photographed!

Eli the Elf Returns

Hello, everyone!  Happy December 1st!  My little elf - Eli - is back again this year, and he's hiding in all sorts of places! Before I share what Eli has been up to, I would like to welcome my newest follower - Kelly Holt - thank you for joining me!

Eli is trying to hide - he thinks he is being camouflaged by the red ribbon and bells!
