Candy Stick for Xmas with Hedgie

Hello, everyone.  I've made another stocking stuffer of candy - this is my third one LOL.  I'm still playing along in the "12 Days of Christmas" challenges going on at Mark's Finest Papers - here is MFP's tutorial on the candy stick.

  
I wanted to show a close-up of this cute little hedgie digi that I got as a freebie a couple weeks ago from Spyder's Corner.  There are freebies every Wednesday - today's freebie is  cute little squirrel - you should go check it out!



 

So I coloured the little hedgie with my Prismacolor pencils and added some Stickles around his hat.  I love, love, love this little guy - isn't he the cutest!  I knew as soon as I saw him that I would have to make something right away.  The sentiment is from SK Digis and I thought it went so well with the hedgie.  I added some colour to the sentiment with my pencils as well.  If you are noticing the embossed background, I used one of my brand-new embossing folders I got for my birthday last month - this one is called Joyful Christmas from Couture Creations.  As for the little tree, I've had it in my stash for several years and it came from Dollarama.  The red ribbon is from Offray.

Altered Mouse Trap

Hello, everyone.  Today I present to you my very interesting Christmas project:  a Mouse Trap Fridge Magnet.  I would never have thought of anything like this on my own - I was inspired by the "12 Days of Christmas" challenges going on at Mark's Finest Papers - I'm trying to make my way through all 12 challenges.  This is my tenth project, so I have just two more to go.  I'm glad there was a tutorial.  It's sort of neat because you can insert a little "to-do" list under the spring.

• Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black

New Followers Button

Bag of Candy

Hello, everyone.  I decided to make another Christmas bag of candy as a stocking stuffer.   This is another project I created to participate in the "12 Days of Christmas" challenges going on at Mark's Finest Papers - here is the tutorial.   My goal is to make it through all 12 challenges.  I filled the bag with mini chocolate bars.  Now don't laugh at the colours - they are definitely non-traditional Christmas colours.  I wanted to make something to match the candy bars so I went with a fall palette.
