Stag and Woodgrain

Hello, everyone! Today I'm sharing a card I made for a man, and it has already been received.  I created the background behind the stag with Distress Inks using the ink-smooshing technique.

Inks:  Distress Inks (various shades of brown, orange, yellow, red)

Great card, love the embossing on the BG, ink smooshing makes the die cut pop.

Such a majestic creation against the wood grain, KT. I especially like that there is some "white" space in your DI smooshing technique. It's a wonderful card! Hoping hubby is improving, and please don't ever be concerned about falling behind commenting on my blog. Hi Kitty!! Your ink-smooshing panel behind the sweet stag is just awesome!!! Wow!! Such bold and vibrant colours and fabulous shades it has!!! Mines are never so beautiful! :) Love the design with the little high frame and the white embossed background! It's a great way to make CAS cards and just perfect for a masculine recipients as it haven't embellishments but looks so striking! Thanks for the inspiration!!

I don't have any distressed inks, but I might try the smooshing technique. All your cards come out great with it. I have trouble with masculine cards. Love this one!
