Today I am sharing a Happy Purr-day kitty card! I heat-embossed the kitty from Hero Arts Cat Portraits LL078 in silver, coloured with Prismacolor pencils, fussy-cut, and popped up with foam tape. The patterned paper and glitter paper are both from Colorbok. In real life, the blues are the same, but here in the photo the glitter paper is taking on a different shade. The embossing folder is from Elizabeth Craft, called Trendy Tiles 2, and it has been affixed to the glitter paper and popped up with foam tape. I computer-generated the sentiment and printed it in grey to match the silver-embossed image. I hand-cut a fish tail on one end. The circles were die cut using My Creative Time Bunch of Fun Circles. To finish it off I added three sequins.
My card was inspired by three challenges. I designed the card based on the sketch at The Crooked Stamper. I chose colours and shapes according to the photo inspiration at The Craft Garden. There's an embossing challenge at A Blog Named Hero so I used both heat and dry embossing on my card.
Thank you for looking at my card! Wishing you a joyful day!
