Coffee Girl (Gerda Steiner image)

Hi, everybody! Before I share my card, I would like to extend a warm welcome to my newest follower - Neli Mandel - so happy to have you here! 

Today's card was made with a sweet image from Gerda Steiner called Coffee Girl. I coloured her with Prismacolor pencils, fussy-cut, and popped up with foam tape. This is a progressive challenge, so since I made a card last month using the March digi, I received this April digi for free! You can join at any time; see details here.

I created the background by spongeing Rusty Hinge Distress Ink onto Simon Says Stamp's Repeated Hearts stencil.  I inked just the area behind the image, not the entire card front. I stamped a sentiment from Clearly Besotted's A Little Sentimental clear stamps and added three sequins.  I mounted the stenciled panel onto a top-folded card, popped up with fun foam.  The right edge of the card was covered in sparkly washi tape.
