Guest Designer at Stick It Down

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm Guest Designing at Stick it Down for their March Card Sketch!  There is still time if you'd like to join the challenge!  I enjoy sketches - they are a great way to get your crafty mojo going!  This sketch inspired me to make a winter holiday card!  I make my cards all year long as it helps take the pressure off in November/December, especially since I enjoy contributing to holiday card drives.

This adorable image is Bugaboo Stamps - Boy Gingerbread Candy Cane 4.  I coloured him with markers, added Star Dust Stickles to his icing, and fussy-cut so I could pop him up on foam tape. The patterned paper is from Crate Paper, and I layered it on green and then red cardstock.  Behind the gingerbread boy, I stamped some flourishes (Inkadinkado).  I stamped a sentiment (Your Next Stamp) on a kraft scrap and adhered.  Lastly I embellished with red and green gems.

Here's the March card sketch at Stick it Down, designed by Leslie Turner.  I hope you'll be inspired to play along in our challenge!

Thank you to Ashley at Stick it Down for inviting me to be Card Sketch Guest Designer this month - I had fun!

I would like to support the following 10 challenges:
  1. Bugaboo Catch the Bug March Bingo (I went with 3 Layers, Bugaboo Image, and Player's Choice (gems) 1/3

Adorable card, super cute image and great colouring love your take on the sketch, congrats on your GDT, must check them out as I too love sketches. So far this month I've tried sketches, challenges and an online crop and I'm still having mojo troubles, although it might be a"disorganized" problem.

Aww . . . cute! Great take on the sketch (I had fun using this sketch twice myself) and I really like how you stamped the flourishes as the bracket elements. Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
