Penguin Hot Chocolate

Hello, everybody!  There are lots of fun events and challenges going on in blog land, and I have been inspired to make another holiday card!

This fun image is Beccy's Place - Finn's Hot Chocolate. I seem to use this penguin every year - he makes me smile!  This set comes with sentiments but for some reason I don't have them. I went with the precoloured image, fussy-cut, and popped up on foam tape. The sentiment is Deedee's Digis - Warm Wishes (sadly this company is no longer in business), and I die-cut with a stitched tag (LaLa Land Stitched Elements).  The patterned papers are from Forever in Time Holiday Trendz, and I used a scrap of vellum behind Finn.  Lastly I embellished with three red snowflake sequins.

My card design was inspired by Sketch 588 at Sketch Saturday:

The Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is on now, so I wanted to join in!  There is lots of coffee, tea, and cocoa inspiration over there!  The hop goes until November 8!

Beccy's Place is having her Month of Holiday Cards, which is always so much fun and full of inspiration! Thank you, Beccy! It's an Alphabet Challenge and Day 3 is "C" so I went with Cocoa (or chocolate)!

Beccy's Place

Double Trouble Paper Crafting is looking for stitching, hot beverage, and joining the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, and I've done all 3!

I would also like to support the following challenges: Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas AG Optional Letter H (hot chocolate, holiday card) UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper November UE; DL.ART November Linky UE 1/d; Penny's Paper-Crafty AG 2/3; The 12 Months of Christmas Link-up AG Christmas Optional Red and Green 1/10; The Outlawz Festive Friday Christmas UE

Thank you for looking at my card! Wishing you a joyful day!

I really like the layout of this card KT, the panels of patterned paper in the background look great. It would be a really good way of using up off cuts. I like how you've added the piece of vellum to give the image something to sit on, it helps lift him up from the background a little. Love the snowflakes and little sentiment tag. Fabulous!
Cheers,
Beccy
