It's a Boy (Just Some Lines image)

Hello, everyone!   Today I've made a baby card!  Brian's nephew and his wife are expecting a boy next month so I wanted to be ready.  I went with a shaker card - these have become my favourite card to make!  The adorable image is called Sweet Dreams Baby Fairy from Just Some Lines and I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils.

I used my Nellie's Multiframe Rectangles to die-cut the shaker frame.  The patterned papers are from Dollarama (very old stash items).  I attached the patterned paper for the frame to cardstock before I die cut to provide strength.

Inside the shaker I added lots of tiny silver stars, blue and green sequins, and some baby-themed confetti (new purchase from the dollar store).  It includes a baby bottle, tiny safety pins, and yellow duckies - so cute!  I stamped a small sentiment in two of the corners:  Congratulations at the top left, and It's a Boy at the bottom right.  I don't make a lot of baby cards and don't have many baby sentiments, but these were in a clear stamp set from Impression Obsession - Sentiments 1.  I stamped them in Ancient Page - Aegean Blue.
