Happy New Year!

Hello, everyone.  I've made another shaker card - this time a Happy New Year card!  Shaker cards have become one of my favourites - they are so fun!  I was inspired by the New Year's Eve challenge over at Red Carpet Studio, where they want us to use some stars and something new.  I've used lots of stars LOL, and my new items are the Tim Holtz weathered clock die and Memory Box Star Flourish.

I started with the Happy New Year sentiment, which was one of the freebies at Miss Kate Cuttables. I attached it to a white card base and added lots of gold and silver star sequins for the shaker.  For the front of the shaker card, I layered some gold specialty paper onto black cardstock and cut the circle apeture with my Nellie's Multiframe Circle, adding a piece of acetate in behind.  I affixed the TH weathered clock around the apeture on the front of the card and then added a number of star-themed die cuts in glittery silver:  Memory Box Star Flourish, Precious Stars, and Cosmic Star Set. I don't know if the photos do it justice, but this card looks very sparkly!
