Hedgie Christmas

Hello, my friends.  Today I've made another Christmas card.  I have fallen in love with the images by Lyn at Spyder's Corner - this is the second hedgie illustration I've used.  There are freebies on Lyn's blog every Wednesday, so you should check it out.  I've collected a few of her images over the last couple months, but it was her hedgies that really caught my attention.  You all know I love cats, but I also love hedgies LOL.

I had so much fun colouring this image with my Prismacolor pencils and watching these little hedgies come to life before my eyes.  The sentiment is a cling-mount stamp by Amy R Stamps.  The Memory Box Luca Ornament is one of the dies I got for my birthday last month, as is the Couture Creations Joyful Christmas embossing folder used on the green panel (thank you, Brian).  The glittery brown polka-dot paper is Recollections, and the snowflake, gems, tree brad, and ribbon are all from my stash.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Good morning Kitty - and what a treat to see another of your beautiful cards - like you I too love hedgehogs with their little snuffling noses and bright inquisitive eyes. What makes this card such a special Christmas card to me is how you have created a Christmas card using the colours of the hedgehog's natural habitat - green and brown. To me that really shows your love and respect for the beauty and power of Nature. As always your design and composition of your cards is a joy to see.
Kitty, thank you so much for your lovely words on my little space - I was with my Mum when they came through and she was so pleased to learn that I have special friends like you - but was very confused by the technology that has enabled us to develop a friendship without having 'met' - she's 82 ....however, your words to her 'little girl' made her very happy too. Love Ingrid
Ooops nearly forgot - Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)
