Hello, everyone. Today I have made a Happy New Year card. What a cute little snowman I used - he's called "For the Birds," and I purchased him from
From the Heart Stamps so I could play along in their
December Stamp of the Month Challenge - this is the first time I've participated. It's a progressive challenge so anyone who plays along will get next month's digistamp for free.
Now I should admit that I only had to pay 25 cents for this image since I had a few discount coupons saved up from playing along in their
i {heart} sketches challenges, which I also just discovered recently. Any time you play along in their sketch challenge, you get a small coupon to use in their store, and you can also accumulate them, which is what I did.
I coloured the snowman with my Prismacolor pencils and added Diamond Stickles on his hat and body. I probably should have waited until the Stickles dried before taking the photo, oh well. I used my Spellbinders Lacy Circle die and my Memory Box Precious Mittens - first time I've used this one I think, and I got it for my birthday in October. The sentiment is a freebie from
Desert Diva - thank you, Hannelie. I embossed the kraft panel with Couture Creations "A Songbird's Poinsettia," and I added a few gems from Dollarama. Here's the sketch I followed from
