Yummy Treats Retro Kitty Countdown

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm sharing one of my retro kitty countdown cards!  This one features images and paper from Gecko Galz.  I have been making a set of 25 countdown cards whereby the recipient will open one each day in December similar to an advent calendar.  The cards are being shared out of order; this one is  #21.

Images:  Peppermint cottage (Gecko Galz Candy Land Collage Sheet), gingerbread man (Gecko Galz Tis the Season Collage Sheet - blog hop freebie 2017, thank you!), candy cane kitty (Gecko Galz Candy Cane Lane Collage Sheet)

I fussy-cut the peppermint cottage and the candy cane kitty.  The peppermint cottage image has Santa at the door, but I replaced him with a gingerbread man.  I die-cut the countdown numbers from sparkly red cardstock and punched some small snowflakes from the same glitter paper.  The kitty is popped up on foam tape, and the sentiment is self-made in Microsoft Word.

I would like to join the following 10 challenges:
Creative Knockouts 481 Winter Wonderland 1/3 C10
Gecko Galz Christmas Dreams UE
Incy Wincy Christmas 2/5
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Anything Goes 2/5
Word Art Wednesday 571-572 AG w Uplifting Sentiment wk1 3/5
Your Scrapbook Place December AG 2/3

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a fun, crafty day!

The idea of a countdown card is such a fun idea, and what an incredibly cute card this is! It reminds me of the gingerbread houses I made when I was a little girl! I hope your Christmas and new year celebrations were fun and blessed with goodness :)
