Hello, everyone! I've made some "ugly" sweaters, but I think they are cute! After all, there are kitties!
- Clear stamps: Newton's Nook - Cat-itude (stamps on sweaters), Newton's Nook - Newton's Holiday Mischief (sentiment)
- Dies: Newton's Nook - Newton Unwinds (meow word), Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangle
- Embossing folder: Darice Snowflake Background
- Digital image: Scrap n Stamp ugly sweater template
- Patterned paper: Klouise Digiart
- Other: Snowflake sequins
I started with the digital sweater template, printed it in three different sizes on three different patterned papers and then fussy-cut. Next I stamped the images on the fronts of the sweaters. I die-cut a white panel with a stitched rectangle and embossed with a snowflake pattern and then layered onto a black glitter panel. I stamped a sentiment and adhered a black-glitter meow die-cut to a strip of patterned paper that had been die-cut with the same stitched rectangle and then adhered it to the embossed panel. I adhered the sweaters according to the sketch below and then finished the card with some coordinating snowflake sequins.
My card design was inspired by Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge 138, which is a sketch:
