2019 Cat Lovers Hop - Day 1

Hello, everyone!  Before I get started, I would like to welcome three new followers - Joy Wilson, Iso crealientje, and Shawn Foster (Debbie) - thank you for joining me!

Today is an exciting day!  It's Day 1 of the 2019 Cat Lovers Hop!  Woohoo!  Thank you to Janis at Her Peaceful Garden, who hosts this hop each year so we can all get together and share projects to celebrate our love of cats!  Check out the Guidelines and FAQ and then get creative with your cat images so you can join in the fun! Note that you need to sign in if you'd like to win a pawesome prize!   This is the fifth year for the Cat Lovers Hop, and I have participated in all of them - I wouldn't miss it!  The Hop runs until Saturday, October 26, so you have plenty of time to play along!  For those who are new here, I have 3 cats - you can see photos of them on my right-hand sidebar!  Honeydew and Kiwi are 15 years old, and Snowie is 14.

My card features a new digital image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps called Sign-it Kitty Cat Greetings. While I was shopping at Bugaboo, I noticed they have a whole section of their shop devoted to Cats so head over and take a look!  (The image I used is still on sale for 50% off at time of writing.)

The adorable image was coloured with my markers (Bic Mark-its and Dollarama markers).  The sign is pale pink, and so are the cat's cheeks and ears, although it's not showing up well in the photo.  I sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide for the sky and Mowed Lawn for the grass.  I stamped a sentiment on the sign from Jane's Doodles Cats, and then mounted on black cardstock. The crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART - Cabernet from the Vintage Vineyard Collection.  The patterned papers are from my stash (I think they are MME - I used scraps/snippets), and I finished off the card with three sequins at the top left.
