Holiday Card 10 - I for Igloo

Hello, everybody!  I'm back again today with another holiday card (this is the final one for today, I think!).  Inspiration for my holiday cards has come from the alphabet prompts over at Beccy's Place - she is having her sixth annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge.  Day 10 is "I" and I went with Igloo.  (For an update on my husband's health, please see my earlier post here.)

The adorable snowman image is a freebie from Beccy's Place called Frank the Snowman. I used the precoloured version and fussy-cut so I could pop him up with foam tape.  I used an igloo embossing folder (free with magazine) on Three Birds white-core cardstock and sanded it with my Tim Holtz sanding grip.  I used a die-cut border from Simon Says Stamp Wavy Scallop Stitches to simulate a snowdrift.  The digital sentiment is from Beccy's Place Finn in the Snow, and I finished off the card with a few snowflake sequins.

I would also like to support the following challenges:
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas AG Optional Use a Button UE
Creatalicious AG Optional Embossing (dry embossing) UE
Cute Card Thursday Snowflakes UE
Just Keep on Creating November AG UE

Thank you for looking at my card!  Wishing you a joyful day!

Another great inspiration, my friend!!! Your use of the white-core sanded cardstock for this cute card makes me remember that I have a half-made Christmas card with this technique in one of my boxes, very neglected! I have to find it and finish the work! Thank you! :) Love so much the cute snowman and the sweet unconventional colours!! The sentiment and the colourful sequins look great!! Well done!

You have done such a great job with these first ten cards Kitty, I'm so impressed by how fabulous they all look.
I love the little pops of pink and red in all this green, it's a great combo. Clever idea to sand back the card stock to reveal the inner core of the paper, it's really helped to highlight the embossing. Well done!
Cheers,
Beccy
