Thank You Owl

Hello, everyone!  Before I get started, I would like to welcome my newest follower - Charlene 'White Deer' Heathwood - thank you for joining me!  If you would like to leave a link to your blog in the comments, I will hop over and follow you too!

Today I'm sharing a thank-you card that I made with all dies, no stamping!  I gave this to my Dad yesterday and he loved it!

The woodgrain-embossed kraft cardstock background was inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide.  I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's card shown below and on her blog here.  Her video was about creative uses for embossing folders.

I would also like to support the following challenges: 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Animals 4/5; Butterfly Challenge Spin the Butterfly Wheel with the Letter W (I went with Window and one tiny butterfly) 1/3; Cardz TV 55 AG 2/3; Crafting by Designs July AG 3/3; Creatalicious AG Optional For a Hero UE; Crop Stop Link Party 41 (Distress Inks can be purchased at Crop Stop here) 5/5; Cute Card Thursday AG UE; DL.ART July AG Linky 1/d; DL.ART Thankful Thursday Red, White, and Blue Alternate Thank You 2/3; Happy Little Stampers AG with Dies UE; Jo's Scrap Shack Always AG 2/3; The Corrosive July AG 1/3; The House That Stamps Built Repeat Impressions DCC74 ~ The Great Outdoors; The Outlawz Twisted Thursday TT070518 AG Twist Wings or Scales 2/2; Three Amigos Blog Hop Embossing UE; Word Art Wednesday AG w Uplifting Sentiment wk1 4/5

What a cute card. Love the embossing. So glad you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I hope you'll join us again soon. I want to leave you with the inspiration of God's Word in 2 Peter 3:9 which says, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." Have a blessed week.
