Today I am sharing a mermaid card! I recently won some gorgeous images from Broken Fairy Designs (thank you!) and I fell in love with this beautiful mermaid called Listening to the Sea. I coloured her with Prismacolor pencils and added Liquid Pearls to the bubbles in her hair. I added some sparkle to her tail with clear Wink of Stella and some dimension to the shell with Glossy Accents. I've added a close-up below so you can see more of the details.
My card began with an ocean background using blue and green watercolours. I splashed on lots of water droplets to add more of an ocean look and then stamped some fish and bubbles from Newton's Nook clear stamps (Tranquil Tides and Shark Bites). I die-cut this panel with Avery Elle Wonky Stitches. The sentiment is from Create with TLC and it was a freebie at one point (thank you!). I die-cut the sentiment with Gina Marie Designs Drop Pennant. I finished it off with a number of clear sequins from my stash.
