Hummingbird Photos

Hello, everyone!  I wanted to share some photos of our hummingbirds!  We have quite a few this year, still not as many as last year, but they are such a joy to watch!  We seem to have more females and just one male that we can see. He likes to guard the feeders and chase away the other birds! We're pretty sure he's the same male that was here last year.  Brian captured some great shots! Enjoy!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Wow!! Great shots! I enjoy look them! I have never seen a feeder for hummingbirds before now, and I'm impressed by it: bright colours and a center as a flower, so they can put inside the beack and ....slurp! :D What there is in the feeder?
Wonderful hummingbirds! I don't knew that the male has a red throat, and love see the wings in their superfast movement!!
Have a great Sunday my sweet friend!

Oh they are so precious! Love hummingbirds! We no longer have a place to hang our feeders after some renovations to the house, so I'm living vicariously through your spottings. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful photos! Hummingbirds are so fascinating to watch. We have several that feed on a sage bush in our backyard. Brian did a great job catching these fast flyers.

Awwww!! How sweet! I wonder how a hummingbird feeder would hold up here in southwest AZ... I think it's worth a try.. in the shade of course... don't want the poor little birds burning their tootsies...
