Joyful Greetings

Hi, everyone!  I'm back again today with a shaker card!  This cute kitty image was a freebie from Gecko Galz at one point (I'll provide a direct link if I can find it - it was on one of their DT blogs in December.  Edited:  Found it!  Here is the freebie - please leave a comment that Kitty sent you!).

Gecko Galz is having an All That Glitters challenge this month, and I wanted to join!  I coloured the kitties with Prismacolor pencils and inked the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

For the snowbank I used Poppystamps Stitched Landscapes die and added SU Dazzling Diamond glitter along the top of the snow. For the front of the shaker, I used one of my new dies - Memory Box Stitched Snowflake Circle Frame - and I also added two additional snowflakes (Impression Obsession).  I used an inlaid die-cutting technique with the snowflake frame - I haven't tried this technique before with a shaker card but I think the key is the right glue!

The sparkly cardstock is from DCWV, and it is die-cut with Waltzingmouse Stamps Scalloped Stitched Rectangles. The cute die-cut bow (new) and sentiment are from Paper Smooches, and I added a purple gem to the bow.  Inside the shaker I used white seed beads.
