Sweet Wishes Waterfall Card

Hello, everybody! Welcome back to Day 2 of the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! This is my second project for today!  The hop runs through December 18 and anyone can join!  We are focusing on winter/holiday projects with images of coffee, tea, or cocoa. It's a blog hop so commenting is encouraged and much appreciated!

I know waterfall cards have been around for awhile but I've finally mustered up the courage to make one after seeing it on my friend Debi's blog! There is a tutorial here. My card features an adorable digi set that I won from Lia Stampz called Warmest Wishes.  I used the mug, hat, and mitten from this set.

I used the Flip Fancy Die Set from Repeat Impressions, which is perfect for waterfall cards! The patterned paper is from BoBunny.

I coloured the images with Prismacolor pencils and added clear glitter on the hat.

The sentiment is from Sugar Pea Designs - Sweet Treats.

Of course, you know I had to include a kitty!  This one is a 2006 wood-mounted rubber stamp from Stampendous called Snow Buddies - Christmas Kitty.  I added clear glitter on the white parts of his hat.  The tree is from Close to My Heart - Trim the Tree; and the ribbon is from Offray.

Some of you have asked about my elf Eli... have no fear, he is still here!  He's been keeping out of trouble, still recovering from all of the candy canes he ate the other day! Eli noticed I am pre-occupied with hot beverages this week (more than usual haha) so he is hiding in my snowman mug to try to get some attention! Eli is linking up over at DL.ART's Third Annual Elf Antics Linky! If you have a little elf, you will want to join Eli, Arci, Ron, Daisy, Elizabeth, Loopy, Elfin, and Hope in their funny elf antics!

I would also like the join the following challenges: Artistic Inspirations AG Christmas UE; Beccy's Place AG UE; Choux Choux Paper Art Christmas Winter UE; CRAFT Christmas 4/5; Craftin Desert Divas Christmas Linky UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas AG Christmas UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra December UE; Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper December UE; Cut It Up Brrr Winter 1E; DL.ART Thankful Thursday Blue and White or Red and Green 2/3; Dragonfly Dreams It's Christmas UE; Fussy and Fancy Happy Holidays UE; Hiding in my Craftroom Super Scraps Saturday (grey, navy, turquoise, and white are scraps) 2/3;Inspiration Destination AG UE; Jo's Scrap Shack AG 2/3; Just Keep on Creating December AG UE; Lia Stampz AG 1E; Love to Scrap Christmas 3/3; Mod Squad All that Glitters UE; Not Just Cards AG UE; One Stitch at a Time Winter UE; Papertake Weekly Fun Fun Fun (the smiley coffee cup is having fun) 5/5; Pile It On Christmas/Winter UE; Scor-pal More than One Score Winter Fun/Winter Holidays (I scored the 9x2" strip at 2", 2 3/4", 3 1/2", and 4 1/4") 3/3; Scrapbook Blessings Club 3rd Annual Christmas Party UE; Scribbles Designs Non-Traditional Christmas Colours 2/3; Simon Says Stamp Monday Holly Jolly Stamping 5/5; Sweet Stamps Blog AG UE; The Craft Garden Non-Traditional Colours UE; The Ribbon Girl December Card Challenge UE; The 12 Months of Christmas Link-up Christmas Optional Santa UE; Word Art Wednesday AG w Uplifting Sentiment 4/5

I've never made a card like this. I tend to go for A2 or square, but I love seeing different folds and try new things, so it'll go on my to list. But for now it's all about finishing those Christmas cards and tags...
