Summer Tea Song

Hello, everyone!  Today is Day 3 of the Summer Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop. Have you checked it out? Anyone can join! Just link up a newly created summer-themed coffee, tea, or cocoa project. The linky is open until 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, June 12. Hope to see you there!

I've made another tea-themed card. I found this lovely vellum quote in my stash (Papermania) and I thought it would be perfect for the hop!

I attached the vellum with washi tape and affixed a die-cut tea cup (Top Dog Dies Teatime Decorative Die Set). The little puffs of steam are from Your Next Stamp Gingerbread House Die Set.  For the butterflies, I didn't have the colour I wanted in cardstock so I sponged Evergreen Bough Distress Ink on a white scrap before I die-cut them (Joy!crafts). Lastly I added a number of sequins in black and holographic white.

The card design and colours were inspired by the challenge and blog hop over at House of Cards:

I would also like to support these fun challenges:  Beccy's Place June AG UE; Buckwell's Crafty Things with Wings 1/3; Butterfly Challenge Butterflies and Sequins 1/3; Crafty Gals Corner Summer Fun 1/2; Cute Card Thursday Summer Colours UE; Die-Cut Diva's June Bug (butterflies and dragonfly) UE; DL.ART June Linky AG 1/day; Fresh Brewed Blog Fun in the Sun 1/5; Get Creative Must Include Butterflies 1/3; Hiding in My Craftroom Summer Colours 1/3; Inspiration Destination AG UE; Loves Rubberstamps AG UE; Not Just Cards AG UE; One Sweet Challenge Die Cuts and/or Punches UE; Papertake Weekly AG 4/5; Pixie's Snippet Playground Die-cuts from snippets 1/3; Scribble and Scrap AG 1/3; Sister Act (Cards Only) AG UE; Stamp and Create Summer Fun 1/wk 1/4; The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Music Inspired 1/2; Wags n Whiskers Seeing Spots 1/2 (RANDOM WINNER)Word Art Wednesday AG w Uplifting Sentiment 4/5
