I really like the ombre watercolour technique used on Julie Ebersole's tag on Day 1, and I wanted to try it myself! I used Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire. I didn't have a great watercolour brush like Julie's, but I used my dollar-store brush and it worked just fine!
The adorable image is called Angel with Lights from Gerda Steiner Designs, and it's the December progressive challenge image. I coloured her with my Prismacolor pencils, fussy-cut, and popped up with foam tape. The watercolour paper was a snippet left over from a previous project, and I used my Taylored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1 to die-cut the tag, and also from the glittery gold cardstock. I die-cut the stars from the snippet of glittery gold, using my Memory Box's Cosmic Stars set. The sentiment is an older wood-mounted stamp from Plaid, and the ribbon and gold trim are from my stash.
