It's Sunday, and that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog! This week our challenge is Glittery, Sparkly Christmas. How fun - and right up my alley! I do love glitter and sparkle! I hope you can join us!
I decided to make a card for my parents, and I chose a gorgeous image for this special card - it's called Winterville by Lil Diva Stamps from Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet - I adore this beautiful vintage winter scene! I changed the colour of the image to green and added lots of white glitter all around the snowy scene. The image is layered on white and then popped up with foam tape.

I added some Impression Obsession tree die cuts behind the scene and added lots of glitter on the snowy tree limbs. I used my Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders for the landscape and embossed it in Cuttlebug Swiss Dots. I always use scraps/snippets from leftover projects to make my die cuts - I can't waste anything! The dotty DP is from Bobunny's Mistletoe Collection.

I added a Winter Wonderland sentiment from Whimsy Stamps, stamped in SU Certainly Celery and die-cut with my Lala Land Stitched Elements tag. The ribbon is from Offray, and I made a 5-loop bow with my Craft-Dee BowZ. Lastly I added a snowflake charm.
One final photo of the card with my two sweet elf twins, Eli and Elfis. They seem to jump into every photo I take! But that's okay with me - now I can link up with Diana at DL.ART's Second Annual Elf Antics Linky Party!
