Introducing Eli the Elf
Hello, everyone! I was so excited yesterday when I found a little elf at the thrift store! Why would this be so exciting, you might ask? Well, Diana over at DL.ART is having her second annual linky party called Elf Antics and I so wanted to join in! Until yesterday I didn't have an elf so I was tickled pink to find two elves - I have twins - Eli and Elfis! Today I am introducting Eli! It was love at first sight for Eli and Kiwi (my kitty).

Glitter n Sparkle DT - Use Some Snow
Hello, everyone! It's Sunday, and that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog! This week our challenge is Use Some Snow. I hope you can join us! I picked an adorable image for today's card - it's called Snowman Block from Eureka Stamps. I coloured just his accessories and his nose with my Prismacolor pencils as I really like the look of black and white and just a pop of colour for his nose. I also added clear glitter along his body and the snow. The block is popped up with foam tape.

For the snowdrifts I used my Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders with some left-over snippets of white cardstock, and added clear glitter all along the tops. The sentiment is a clear stamp from Newton's Nook Winter Tails.

For the background I used my Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil with Alene's Glitter Snow and also added white glitter. I think it turned out great! There's lots of sparkle although it doesn't show up that well in the photos.

Hello, everyone, and Happy Friday! This is for all of the candy lovers out there! My bloggy friend Chriss America Real of Scrappin' with Chriss and Lou has asked me to share her candy giveaway with all of you! Peaceful Nighttime Scene (Impression Obsession products)
Hello, everyone! I hope my U.S. friends are enjoying their Thanksgiving festivities today! I was back in my craftroom this morning and made another holiday card. I enjoy playing in the challenges over at IO Blog and this time their theme is Christmas greetings. I keep trying to win over there so maybe this will be my time! If not, you know I'll just keep trying LOL! So today I used all Impression Obsession products.

Today I am entering these fun challenges:
I decided to make a nighttime winter scene with silver and gold. It looks fabulous in person but so difficult to get a good photo! The trees are IO's Birch Trees DIE079-U and the buck is from IO's Deer Trio DIE080-N set. The snowbanks were hand-drawn and hand-cut and I sponged on Black Soot Distress Ink. For the sentiment I heat-embossed Season's Greetings A5488 in Egyptian Gold. I think a vertical sentiment adds some interest. The metallic cardstock was in my stash and I believe it came from Dollarama. I wish they'd get it back again - it's actually quite nice.

2 Christmas Cards (Beccy's Place / Rick St. Dennis images)
Hello, everyone! I finally had some time in my craftroom today and I made two Christmas cards. Before I share them, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my 3 lovely new followers - Nana Rogers, Cara Malmrose, and SiskiyouSou - so happy to have you join me!
My first card features an adorable Gingerbread Man from Beccy's Place Gingerbread Set. Have you been playing along in Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards Challenge? I've been lucky to win over there a couple times and this set was one of my wins! I couldn't wait to get him coloured and onto a card! He is just so cute! I coloured him with my Prismacolor pencils, fussy-cut, and added red gems to his buttons.
I started with a stitched rectangle from Simon Says Stamp that I won there last month (thank you!). I used my Taylored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1 to die-cut a tag from a snippet of Lawn Fawn dp left over from a previous project. Then I doodled stitching around the edge with my white gel pen and added a piece of brown rikrak that I found at a thrift store a few years ago. The polka-dot organza ribbon is from a prize I won at Crafty Ribbons (thank you, Ali!) and this was a left-over snippet. The sentiment is an old wood-mount stamp from Plaid and I stamped it in brown on a La-La Land stitched banner and added a red metallic snowflake. The burlap ribbon is from Michaels and the glittery red ribbon and sequins are from my stash. All of my die-cuts were cut from leftovers/snippets.
Now for my second card, I used a precious kitty from Rick St. Dennis called Little Bits of Christmas Kitten that I won earlier this year from a challenge that Rick sponsored (thank you!). I coloured the little sweetie with my Prismacolor pencils and fussy-cut.
The dp is from BoBunny and the embossed yellow paper is from my stash. The sentiment is an old wood-mount stamp from Plaid and I stamped it on a white snippet and then hand-cut the fishtails on both ends. The gorgeous red die-cut was one of my birthday dies and it's called Whirligig Circle from Memory Box.

Glitter n Sparkle DT - Tag It

My tag features the adorable Snowman Globe from Scribbles Designs - I love this image! I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils, using non-traditional colours this time, and added Liquid Pearls for the snow. Then I fussy-cut and popped up with foam tape.

It's Sunday, and that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog! This week our challenge is Tag It. I hope you can join us! My tag features the adorable Snowman Globe from Scribbles Designs - I love this image! I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils, using non-traditional colours this time, and added Liquid Pearls for the snow. Then I fussy-cut and popped up with foam tape.
The sentiment on the snow globe is a clear stamp from Papermania. I used several die cuts here: tag from Taylored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1, icicles border from Impression Obsession; mittens from Cheery Lynn Christmas Knick Knacks; Happy word and Oriental Loop Border from Tattered Lace. As always, I use my leftovers/snippets for my die cuts - I don't waste anything! I added some Kaisercraft lace, tied with twine, and a snowflake button from my stash. The gorgeous dp was in a prize I won last month.
