Floral Sympathy

Hi, everybody!  I'm back again today with another card.  I made this sympathy card a couple weeks ago but did not have a chance to share it until now.

Bunny Winter Happiness

Hello, everyone!  I seem to be on a bunny kick lately so here is another bunny card!  This one is for the winter holidays.

Bunny with Alcohol Inks

Hi, everyone!  Today I'm sharing another bunny card!  (Sorry I have not been around to visit your blogs lately, but we have had a very sick kitty here.  It became a serious situation, but it appears Snowie is now on the mend. Hopefully I'll be around to visit this weekend.)

A few weeks ago I was playing with my alcohol inks and this is one of the colourful panels I made. Today seemed like a good day to use it.  I stamped the bunny and the flower in black on the white cardstock and then again with Versamark on the alcohol ink panel so I could white heat-emboss them in white.  I soon found out that Yupo paper does not emboss well, but it's fun to experiment.  I adhered the colourful panel with craft foam to add some dimension and then stamped the sentiment vertically in black. I adhered the white panel to a black panel and added a sparkly gold border die-cut. To finish off the card, I die-cut some tiny tufts of grass.

Bunny Just For You

Hello, everybody!  Before I share my card, I would like to welcome four new followers - Crystal Ingleby, Cathy Frailey, Betz Golden, and Kate - thank you for joining me!

Today I'm sharing a bunny card!  I used stamps from Pink and Main (see below).

How I made this card:  I die-cut and layered two doilies, one in gold and the other in white, onto some floral patterned paper.  I created a gathered crepe paper strip and adhered it onto the doilies.  I stamped the bunny, coloured with markers, and fussy-cut.  I stamped the sentiment in black on a pink die-cut tag, dry-embossed it with a floral pattern, added some baker's twine, adhered the bunny, and then popped up the tag with foam tape.

Stamps used:  Pink and Main Seeds of Kindness (bunny) and For You Penguin (sentiment)

Another Sympathy Card

Hi, everyone!  Before I share my card, I would like to welcome my newest follower - Paula Williams - thank you for joining me!  I met Paula on YouTube - please go check out her channel and tell her Kitty sent you!

Today I'm sharing another sympathy card.  I mentioned yesterday that I like to make a few to have on hand as I find them so difficult to make at the time when they are needed.  I made a few more but I'll share the others later.

I have loads of these paint chips in my stash from the good old days when they were trendy.  I still enjoy using them every now and then.  I trimmed off the colour names and popped it up on foam tape.

Gnome Couple

Hello, everybody! Today I'm sharing a card I made with Gerda Steiner's Gnome Couple. I received this image for free because I participated in last month's challenge. This is a progressive challenge, so if you play along this month, you will receive a new image in May for free. Yay! It is fun to receive a cute new image every month, and I always look forward to it! Thank you, Gerda! Here's a link to Gerda's April challenge.

I played with my alcohol inks to make a rainbow background! I've been excited about the alcohol ink trend! I've had my Ranger Adirondack alcohol inks for many years, and they've been collecting dust. Now I've been inspired to use them again! While I prefer to use yupo paper, this time I used scraps of glossy photo paper. These were scraps that are too small to use in my printer. You don't get the same effect as on yupo, but they are still fun. I made each colour individually and then cut them into strips to piece together into the rainbow background.

As for the gnome couple, I decided not to colour them due to the vibrant background. Instead I doodled some dots and check patterns on their outfits. I computer-generated the sentiment in Microsoft Word and punched some tiny hearts from the leftover backgrounds. The stitched heart was die-cut from a vellum scrap, and I used a pierced scalloped rectangle die to cut the rainbow panel.
