Glitter n Sparkle DT - Show Us Some Sass

Hello, everybody!  It's Sunday and that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog. This week we would like you to Show Us Some Sass. I used my own image from Inky Impressions for this challenge because I think this Beach Cat is definitely "showing some sass" LOL.  I coloured her with my Prismacolor pencils and added lots of summery embellishments and die cuts.

Kid in Pumpkin Costume - Gerda Steiner

Hi, everyone!  I was determined to get my progressive challenge cards finished before the deadline, and here is my final one - yeah!  This one features an adorable image called Kid in Pumpkin Costume by Gerda Steiner.  I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils and added some fun Halloween die cuts. I added a ticket sentiment, which I also coloured with my pencils, and stamped the sentiment in black. Then I doodled some faux stitching around the border of the card to finish it off.

Santa's Helper - DS4J

Hi, everyone.  I'm running out of time!  There are only a few days left to play along in the monthly progressive challenges I enjoy.  Today I'm sharing two Christmas cards in one post so I can join Sarn in her Rudolph Day challenge.

My first card features an adorable image called Santa's Helper from Digi Stamps 4 Joy.  It's the August digi for their Monthly Christmas Card Challenge, and I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils and then added some faux stitching around the image. Dolphins - Imagine That Digis by Kris

Hi, everyone.  Well, it's crunch time for me and the progressive challenges that I do each month. Where did August go?  It's just a blur of packing, cleaning, unpacking, and more cleaning! And I'm not even close to being settled in the new house.  As I was lamenting to Brian yesterday about being so overwhelmed with it all, he said we have the rest of our lives to unpack, but let's hope it doesn't take that long! 

Before I share my card, I would like to welcome two lovely new followers:  Di from Pixie's Crafty Workshop and Barbara from Harz Warch - so happy to have you join me!

Today I am sharing a card I made for the progressive challenge over at Imagine That... digis by Kris.  This month's digi is Dolphins and comes with this adorable image, both coloured and non, along with several sentiments.  I decided to use the pre-coloured image since my time is limited. There was also a bonus challenge to include some pink or red so I've layered the image with pink cardstock.  Everyone who participates in a progressive challenge is a winner because you receive next month's digi for free - why not come play along!  You can join at any time!

Guest Designer at Digital Delights

Deedee's Digis DT - Harvest Hellos

Hi, everyone!  A warm welcome to my newest follower, Ema M, so lovely to have you here! I took some time last week to make a few DT cards and I had a lot of fun!  If you could see the disorganized mess of boxes at our new house, you would wonder how I could craft at this time, but I needed a crafting break!  I don't like to talk about my health but I am completely exhausted.  I'm taking things a day at a time - things will all fall in place, right!

 Today I am sharing a DT card I made for Deedee's Digis.  The image is from one of Deedee's newest sets called Harvest Hellos.  Just look at the adorable kitty!  I went with a fall-themed card because that's my favourite season and I love fall colours.

I decided to use the precoloured image and fussy-cut around the kitty and veggies and also the pumpkin and leaves and then popped up these parts with pop dots.  The sentiment is also part of the Harvest Hellos set, as is the non-colour image and several other sentiments.  You can see everything you get with this set below.

Glitter n Sparkle DT - Use Some Metal

Hello, everybody!  It's Sunday and that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog. This week our theme is Use Some Metal. You all know how I love kitties so I was delighted to receive this adorable image from Ike's Art called Kitty 2, which I coloured with my Prismacolor pencils and fussy-cut.  Our challenge is to use some metal, so I hope you can see the little paw-print heart charm that I added under the twine.
