Glitter n Sparkle DT - Babies

Hello, everyone. First let me welcome my two newest followers - Zella and Angela C - so nice to have you here! 

It's Sunday and that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog. This week our theme is Babies. I used this adorable image from Bugaboo Digistamps called Brat - Girl and Kitty Wagon and I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils.

I used some baby-themed borders and stickers from Glitter Max and some Dollarama patterned paper, all from my stash.

Citrus Colours

Hello, everybody!  First I would like to welcome my newest follower - Alicia from Golden Goddess Designs - so happy to have you here!  I've been playing with my washi tape again!  Newton's Nook is having a colour challenge and I wanted to get in on the fun! I used one of their freebie images that you can find here.  I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils, fussy-cut, and layered onto a second flower image.  I also coloured and fussy-cut a second ladybug.  The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts.

Cosmic Colours

Hi, everyone!  I almost forgot about Cosmic Strawberry's Cosmic Colours Challenge this month - so glad Colette posted a reminder!  I have been wanting to use my stash of washi tape ever since I saw my friend Patti's cards here, so here's the card I came up with based on the colour swatch shown below.

I used my Marianne Craftables butterfly die and a mix of washi tape from Downtown Tape and Forever in Time.  The sentiment clear stamp and gems are from Studio G.  Cardstock is Staples. Here's the colour swatch:

Guest Designer at Scrapping 4 Fun

Hello, everyone.  I am excited to announce that I'm a Guest Designer at Scrapping 4 Fun Challenges this fortnight. Thank you to Rachelle for inviting me!  We have a colour challenge for you this time (see colour swatch at bottom).  I wanted to make something a little different for my GD spot so I made a pop-up-box card.  I have been wanting to make one for ages and I thought this was the perfect time. I really had fun with it and loaded it up with lots of die cuts!

For the image, I used an adorable clear stamp:  Elsie with Daisies from Wild Rose Studio.  I won it in a challenge and I am so happy to be inking it up!  I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils and then fussy-cut. Here's a close-up of the stamped image and the die cuts:

I mentioned that I used a lot of dies for this card, and here's the list:  Butterflies (Memory Box), Flowers (Joy! Crafts, Die-namics, Cheery Lynn), Leaves (Cheery Lynn), Bird (Elizabeth Craft Designs), Circle (Nellie's Multiframes), Lacey Circles (Spellbinders), Walking Cat (Poppy Stamps). I also used my EK Success flower punches.  

The designer paper on the inside of the box and flaps is from Brenda Walton by K and Company. The birthday sentiment is from Jackie Rockwell (it was a freebie at one point, thank you!) and I coloured the word Happy with my Prisma pencils.  

Below is a photo of the card folded up and ready for mailing.  This birthday sentiment below is from Crafts 4 Eternity, and the designer paper is Basic Grey.  The flower and butterfly stickers are from Dollarama.

Here's the back of the card, all folded up.  Plenty of room to write a personal sentiment on the back.  

And finally, here is the colour swatch for our challenge at Scrapping 4 Fun.  You must use at least 3 colours shown in the image; shading lighter or darker is fine.  I think I managed to get every single colour on my card!  I hope you can hop over and play along with us at Scrapping 4 Fun! Two Christmas Cards

Hello, everyone.  Welcome to my newest follower, Karen Hasheck - lovely to have you here!  Today I am sharing two Christmas cards that I just made. It has been my goal this year to make at least two Christmas cards a month, and so far, so good!  Great inspiration comes from Sarn, who has asked us to post both cards in one post for her Rudolph Day so that is what I've done! Scroll down for Card #2 using Digi Stamps 4 Joy image.

Card #1
My first card features an adorable Adam Pescott stamp that I received from a very kind and generous bloggy friend who prefers to remain anonymous.  If you are reading this, I want you to know how much I appreciate your random act of kindness (RAK) - your generosity warmed my heart and brought me much joy - thank you!

This stamp is so cute - it was a purr-fect gift for me and I couldn't wait to ink it up! I coloured it with my Prismacolor pencils, added Stickles to the snow, and stamped a sentiment from Plaid. The white panel is embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes and I added three strips of Christmas-themed washi tape, a glittery gift sticker, and 3 gems.

Here is my second card, using Digi Stamps 4 Joy image Santa's Letter, which is the June stamp for their Monthly Christmas Challenge.

I coloured the image with my Prismacolor pencils and layered it onto a glittery foam panel.  The sentiment is from Fresh Brewed Designs, but I couldn't find it in their store so it must be unavailable.  The white panel is embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes.

Iris Fold - Dinosaur

Hi, everyone!  A warm welcome to my newest follower, Kristie Goulet - so nice to have you join me!

I normally don't blog about my iris folds, but the Dinosaur challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown inspired me to post my iris-folded dinosaur that I made for my young nephew.  The birthday stamp is an old wood-mount from StampCraft.  The dinosaur pattern is a freebie from Circle of Crafters.

Deedee's Digis DT - Set Sail

Hello, everyone.  Today I am sharing a DT card I made for Deedee's Digis.  The image and sentiment are from one of Deedee's newer sets called Set Sail.  I just love this cute little duck!  And I thought this sentiment was great for encouragement. Lots of fab sentiments with this set (see below).  You get the pre-coloured and non-colour image so there are lots of options with Deedee's Digis!  I used the pre-coloured image this time.
