Sailboat - Celebrate - It's Your Day

Hello, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a sailboat card.  I inked the background with Distress Inks, spritzed with water, and then stamped the sailboat and seagulls.  The sentiment was white heat-embossed on a black scrap. This card will be going into the mail to one of my brothers. I hope he likes it!

Color Blooms Anniversary

I was also inspired by Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge. The theme is Spin the Butterfly Wheel with the Letter V - I went with all three colous (Violet, Vegas Gold, Vermillion), Vine Leaves, and Vertical Pattern. I couldn't fit in the Vintage Style, oh well.

Bloomtangled Sympathy 5

Hello, everyone!  I have another sympathy card to share. I've been making a bunch of these lately for my Mom's stash as well as my own.  They are good to have on hand when needed during a sad time.  Again I used what has become my favourite cover plate die!

In making this card, I did something different than on my previous Bloomtangled sympathy cards. For this one, I die-cut the Bloomtangled Cover Plate and used it as a stencil to make the card I posted yesterday.  I thought I would end up throwing it away but it was so pretty that I kept it and made this card!  Two cards for the price of one!

Anniversary Coffee Cups

Hello, everybody!  I'm back again today with a coffee-themed anniversary card!  I paper-pieced the coffee cups and added some shading with my coloured pencils.

Digital stamp: STAMPlorations Latte for Two (this was a freebie at one point; thank you, Shery!)
Dies: STAMPlorations Bloomtangled 1 Cover Plate - CUTplorations (used as embossing folder), Sue Wilson Mr. and Mrs.

Patterned paper:  Violet Bloom

The original digital image contains a pair of cups with a text frame, but I wanted just the cups, so I did some fussy-cutting and paper-piecing with patterned paper. I dry-embossed the white panel using a die (STAMPlorations Bloomtangled 1 Cover Plate - CUTplorations) for some added texture.

Let it Snow

Hi, everyone!  Today I'm sharing a winter/holiday card!  This is not my usual style as I don't normally make a sentiment-focused card, but I was aiming for more of a masculine vibe.  One of the card drives to which I donate is for senior citizens in nursing homes, and I like to have a good variety for either gender at the ready.
