Hello, everyone. A popular saying these days is "Jesus is the reason for the season," but to me Jesus is the reason for every season and every day of our lives! Not just for "Christmas," when the world celebrates His birth, but for every moment of life. Through every season - joys, challenges, and transitions - He remains our hope, our Saviour, and the constant expression of God’s unchanging love.

Today I am sharing my scripture-writing journal page for December 25. These verses continue on in the Gospel of Matthew from yesterday's page (Day 24).
Matthew 2:3-6 describes King Herod's fear and disturbance upon hearing from the wise men about the newborn "King of the Jews," leading him to consult chief priests and scribes who, quoting Micah 5:2, identified Bethlehem as the Messiah's birthplace, the place from which a ruler would come to shepherd Israel. I wrote about Micah 5:2 prophecy on Day 3.
