Guest Designer at Digital Delights

Hello, everyone.  I am excited to announce that I'm a Guest Designer at Digital Delights!  Thank you to the Delightful Challenges Design Team for choosing me!  

I had a lot of fun making this card with the adorable Acorn Mouse image and Just for You Ticket Sentiment, both of which I coloured with my Prismacolor pencils.  Fall is my favourite season so I have made a fall-themed card - I really enjoy the rich fall colours.

Deedee's Digis DT - Harvest Hellos

Hi, everyone!  A warm welcome to my newest follower, Ema M, so lovely to have you here! I took some time last week to make a few DT cards and I had a lot of fun!  If you could see the disorganized mess of boxes at our new house, you would wonder how I could craft at this time, but I needed a crafting break!  I don't like to talk about my health but I am completely exhausted.  I'm taking things a day at a time - things will all fall in place, right!

 Today I am sharing a DT card I made for Deedee's Digis.  The image is from one of Deedee's newest sets called Harvest Hellos.  Just look at the adorable kitty!  I went with a fall-themed card because that's my favourite season and I love fall colours.

I decided to use the precoloured image and fussy-cut around the kitty and veggies and also the pumpkin and leaves and then popped up these parts with pop dots.  The sentiment is also part of the Harvest Hellos set, as is the non-colour image and several other sentiments.  You can see everything you get with this set below.

Glitter n Sparkle DT - Use Some Metal

Hello, everybody!  It's Sunday and that means there's a new challenge starting today over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog. This week our theme is Use Some Metal. You all know how I love kitties so I was delighted to receive this adorable image from Ike's Art called Kitty 2, which I coloured with my Prismacolor pencils and fussy-cut.  Our challenge is to use some metal, so I hope you can see the little paw-print heart charm that I added under the twine.

Autumn Blessings

Taking a Break

Hi, everyone.  A warm welcome to my newest Bloglovin' follower - Sandy D - nice to have you join me!

Just a quick post to let you all know I'll be taking a break from crafting and blogging in July.  I'm dealing with a chronic health issue as well as trying to move into our new house, so I need to focus on that right now.

I plan to be back in August!  Hopefully I will be feeling better with a bit more energy, and hopefully I will blogging from my craftroom in our new home.  Thank you for all your past support and sweet comments!

DS4J and ITDK Christmas Cards

Progressive Challenge - Gerda Steiner Designs

Hi, everybody - I'm back!  Well, not really - sorry!  I realized there are three progressive challenges that I enjoy playing along with each month so I came back for those.  That way I'll get next month's images for free!  We still haven't moved and I'm still struggling with my health, but I did manage to dig out some of my crafting supplies (all of which which have been moved down to the new house) to make the progressive challenge cards.  I will post the other two cards later on this week.

Before I share my card, I notice that I have 3 lovely new followers - Yay!!  A very warm welcome to Tina Teasdale, AJ Scrapbooking & Cards, and Linda Simpson - very happy to have you join me!

My card features the adorable progressive challenge image from Gerda Steiner Designs called Little Kitten in the Moving Box.  How could I resist!  It's a kitten (you all know how I love cats!) and it's in a moving box - so purrfect for me since I'm moving!  So I decided to make this card for my honey Brian to celebrate our new home together.  He actually got a bit emotional when I gave it to him!  I personalized it by including a small photo of our new house, a piece of cardboard torn from one of the moving boxes, and a tag saying "What about Snowbug?" - that's one of our little jokes! Snowbug is Brian's cat and we are a bit nervous about our 3 cats coming together.  They have not met, so we will have to introduce them very carefully!
