Glitter n Sparkle Challenge - Add Some Orange

Hello, friends.  It's Sunday and that means it's time for another challenge over at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog.  This week's theme is Add Some Orange.  What a cute image I got to play with this week!  It's called Cat in Pumpkin from one of our generous sponsors, Sandi's Samples.  Any time I receive a cat image for my DT card, I am happy LOL. 

I coloured the image with pencils, fussy-cut, and mounted on cat-themed digi paper and green cardstock.  I decided to follow the sketch at Sketch N Stash (see sketch below).  For the card itself, I started with a white base and covered it with black cardstock.  With the sketch in mind, I added a panel of pumpkin digi paper mounted on green cardstock.  Next I added a strip of embossed cardstock and orange ribbon, onto which I affixed the image with foam tape.  I stamped the sentiment in black, sponged the edges with black ink and mounted on the card with foam tape.  Lastly I embellished with a skull, a ghost, and four shiny bats, and then added an orange ribbon bow..  Here are the supplies used:

• Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black (for sponging)

• Embossing folder:  Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes
• Ribbon, embellishments:  Dollarama
