Fall Bulldog

Hello, everyone.  Today I'm sharing a dog card (not a cat in sight LOL).  I found a wonderful new Digi of the Month challenge at Deedee's Digis.  It's a progressive challenge and I'm so lucky to be getting in on the very first challenge.  There's still plenty of time to enter the October challenge so go check it out - she has two versions of this freebie available, and one is already coloured for you.  It's called Fall Bulldog - I used the uncoloured version, which I coloured with pencils and mounted on brown cardstock.

I started by covering a white card base with brown cardstock and adding a panel of leaf paper.  I love this leaf paper - it's from Trimgym's Digistamps, Papers and Images.  I got this as a freebie too - did you know that if you play along in Trimgym's monthly challenge, you can request a freebie to play - I requested a paper pack and it included this beautiful leaf paper.  Thank you, Jo, for your wonderful paper!  There's still time to play along so why not head over and check it out.

Now, back to my card... I affixed the mounted image to the card and embellished with flowers and leaves.  I added a brad to the orange flower.   Next I affixed the sentiment, which says, "Happy Fall, Y'all," which I mounted on a brown scrap.  The sentiment was also a freebie - it came in both black and pre-coloured (the one I used) and it's from Melonheadz - another great place for freebies - thank you!  Here are the supplies used:
