Nutcracker

Hello, everyone.  Today I am sharing a quick CAS card I made using a recycled card from last Christmas.  This is for my nephew so I wanted to keep it masculine with not a lot of embellishments.  The sentiment is from Plaid and I stamped it with Ancient Page Cardinal.  The torn patterned paper is a scrap from my stash.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
  1. Incy Wincy For the Men in Your Life 5E #1
  2. Natalie and Amy For the Boys 3E #2
  3. Paper Sweeties Inspiration (see below - I was inspired by the shape and the colours) UE
  4. Red Carpet Studio The Nutcracker 3E #1
  5. Simon Says Stamp Monday Countdown to Holidays (counting Christmas cards, still not enough) 5E #2
  6. Stamping for Pleasure Sarn's Rudolph Day 1E C6

Thank you for looking at my card - I enjoy reading your comments.  Wishing you a joyful day!

Hi Kitty . . . this Nutcracker card is (wait for it) . . . SWEET! Nutcracker Suite . . . get it? Sorry for the TERRIBLE pun . . . . but I couldn't help myself!

Great card layout and colours for a masculine card.

Thanks for joining in with Rudolph Day.

Hugs, Sarn xxx

Fun and festive...my daughter loves nutcrackers...one year I got her a big one for her Xmas decorations...It comes out every year now and has a place of honour by the fire.

Another fantastic creation and I really think you hit the perfect balance for your nephew! The nutcracker is so noble-looking and you've given him a wonderful not-too-girly setting. It's always so fun to see what you come up with! Thanks again for playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
