Party Puss

Hello, everybody.  Today I have made another kitty card - I do make a lot of them LOL.  This sweet kitty is called Tomas the Party Cat by Lyn at Spyder's Other Corner and he just makes me smile.  He is very happy - is it because he's going to a birthday party?   Or maybe he's the birthday puss - not sure - but he's very happy!  I just love the expression on his face.  I coloured him with my Prismacolor pencils and doodled around the edge with a fine black marker. 

 

The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Art Gone Wild, and I embossed the yellow panel with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots.  The patterned paper is a freebie from Activity Village - I just discovered this great source of freebies after reading about it this morning on Spyder's Corner.  To finish off the card, I added a button, some twine, a metal birthday cake, a die-cut kitty, and a "Hi" sentiment sticker.  I followed the sketch at MFP Speedy TV shown below:
